I reset the host files, made a clean boot. I have tried to run the origin installer as administrator, still error code 20:99. I have made all updates to my network drivers, new updates to windows, I have used the tron software for those who know it, it makes sure your system is clean and repairs windows as well Just that I am not able to do it as it is stuck and does not go up at all. I had to make the update, and again same problem. Unlucky me, after I finished downloading it, the new update dropped. Add firewall/antivirus exceptions for Origin and open the needed ports. Origin is the only way to play most EA games on your computer. Step 2: Completely close the EA App in Task Manager (ctrl+alt+del->Task Manager) (you may have to Expand Task Manager in Windows 10 to see all running tasks), killing both 'EA' and 'EA Background Service' by clicking them and pressing the Delete key. Download the latest version of Origin and install the client - make sure to run the setup file with administrator rights. Make sure that your UAC is enabled and set to notify. To solve that I had to pause the update and start it again, but it had the same problem until the game was downloaded. Restart your router/modem and do a Clean Boot. When I was trying to install origin yesterday I kept getting the error code 20:99 and the installer stopped.Įventually I installed origin(I just kept trying until it did), after that I tried to install apex, but I do not know why, the download rate would be steady 20-40mb/s and then it would drop slowly or instantly to 0 and be stuck. I have tried to uninstall everything and install it back again. Hello I have had problems with apex starting about 5 days ago, my game would close itself in the middle of a match.
